Muland (ミューランド Myūrando) is one of the five continents on planet Beast. It is a large vertically-oriented land of starkly contrasting biomes, notable for the massive Tell es-Sa Bay (テル・エス・サ湾 Teru esu Sa-wan) on its southern end.

It is also the hiding place of the Three Wise Ones' Wood Gem of Stillness.

Geography

Zigrad (ジグラード Jigurādo)

A small country on the northwestern shore, largely made up of the Dragon Peninsula (ドラゴン半島 Doragon Hantō). Its rulers have made Zigrad a brutal dictatorship rife with inequality, and the country has no allies among the other nations of Beast, who all condemn its government. Yes, even the one ruled by the gator who tried to take over the planet.

Nirmud (ニルムード Nirumūdo)

The northernmost kingdom of Muland, with dense jungles. The northern point is Cape Mud (ムード岬 Mūdo Misaki).

Palmyra (パルミラ Parumira)

A small country on the western coast of Muland.

Uruk (ウルク Uruku)

A landlocked country in the center of the continent. Much of it is made up of the Uruk Prairie (ウルク平原 Uruku Heigen), a rich agricultural region full of farms fed by two massive lakes.

It is also the resting place of both the Wood Gem of Stillness and the Sheep Hunter vehicle.

Petra (ペトラ Petora)

A small western-coast country made up largely of the Petra Peninsula (ペトラ半島 Petora Hantō), which forms the northern part of Camela Bay (キャメラ湾 Kyamera-wan).

Tell es-Sawwan (テル・エス・サワン Teru esu Sawan)

A massive country covering most of the southern part of the continent, containing the Tell es Desert (テル・エス砂漠 Teru esu Sabaku). Camela Bay takes up most of its western shore, while the massive Tell es-Sa Bay takes a considerable portion of its southeastern region.

Notes

  • Muland likely takes its name from the legendary continent of Mu. Subsequently, its countries are named after ancient cities.
    • Zigrad's name likely derives from Gamzigrad, an archaeological site.
    • Nirmud is a misspelling of Nimrud, an ancient city.
    • Palmyra, Uruk, Petra and Tell es-Sawwan share their names with the real-world ancient cities Palmyra, Uruk, Petra, and Tell es-Sawwan.
