Fuel the Fire!

Spitfire was born in the skies of Earth, a Chaos Terran created from a corrupted shard of the Emberstone. Despite looking almost identical to Twitch, she is the opposite of the other Terran in almost every way; deadpan, mean-spirited, gloomy, manipulative, and uncaring for almost anyone but herself. Spitfire is determined to be the best, even at the cost of others and fighting dirty. Her alternate mode is the 2.0 upgrade of Wheeljack's drone, giving her access to extra abilities; such as hyper-speed and stealth mode.

Spitfire isn't a formal member of any faction, but has allied herself with the Decepticons after causing mayhem among the Autobots and the Terrans. She gets along with her fellow Chaos Terran Aftermath, sharing a love for destruction and havoc.

Spitfire was created when Twitch and Laserbeak, while fighting over an Emberstone shard, accidentally dropped the shard into some clouds. The condensation coming in contact with the shard created Spitfire while still in the sky, causing her to immediately fall towards the ground. Twitch, along with a 2.0 drone she named Schmo, dove to her rescue, but Spitfire started fighting Twitch while in the air. Twitch then grabbed the drone with her, which Spitfire scanned, successfully landing on the ground using her new alt-mode. She then went to the Malto’s home with Twitch, who introduced her and convinced her parents to allow Spitfire to stay, despite being a Chaos Terran. While Twitch was introducing Spitfire to the Autobots, Twitch was given a special Autobot mission, which Spitfire objected to, claiming she should've gone instead since she was the superior model. Spitfire then participated in the Polyhex Protocol for the right to go on the mission, antagonizing Twitch during the competition. She fell behind during the penultimate challenge, and cut Alex Malto’s zip line in order to win. She was disqualified from being able to go on the mission, this started an argument between Spitfire and Twitch about the rules, which resulted in Spitfire attacking Twitch. The fight went into the air as another rainstorm rolled in, during which Spitfire continually antagonized Twitch and used her form’s better speed and invisibility to get the upper hand. Twitch eventually ended the fight and spared Spitfire, but Spitfire then used her pairing technology to control Twitch’s body to steal everything she cares about. As she was doing this, a lightning bolt struck them both and sent both Terrans falling. Spitfire, now in Twitch's body, then said that the Chaos Terran must be kept away from the family. Spitfire

Sensing an opportunity, Spitfire did her best to act naturally and not raise suspicions, though apparently not successfully enough as Dot insisted Robby accompany her on the Autobot mission. When the real Twitch showed up at the Malto farm, Spitfire managed to maintain her ruse and turn Robby against his sibling. She and Robby went to Autobot base for the mission, however Wheeljack had become suspicious of her and she used the Cyber Slayer to take him out before attempting to make an escape with the weapon. On the way out she ran into Robby and Twitch, however this time the ruse was swiftly discovered and the pair gave chase to Spitfire. Twitch successfully switched the pair back to the right bodies, but with Aftermath's help, Spitfire got away with the Cyber Slayer and the two Chaos Terrans returned to the Decepticon base. The Imposters Starscream assigned Aftermath and Spitfire the task of using the Cyber Slayer to break into Terratronus, which they set about with gusto and eventually succeeded. Witwicky, Part 1 Starscream, having reclaimed the Emberstone, joined the pair as they entered Terratronus's spark chamber and turned the Cyber Slayer on them, taking them offline so he could use the shards that brought them to life to complete the Emberstone. Witwicky, Part 2

Their lifeless bodies remained in the spark chamber where Starscream was trapped. As time wore on, he started having mock tea parties with them. As part of a plan to deal with a storm of chaos energy unleashed by the Quintessons, a team led by Optimus retrieved the Cyber Slayer and the Chaos Terrans' bodies. Judgment Day, Part 1 The Chaos Terrans were placed in Optimus's trailer with the Cyber Slayer rigged to it, and dropped into the storm where the chaos energy was absorbed and channeled into the pair, bringing them back to life. Though they were tempted to just leave, the others talked them into stay and joining the battle against the Quintessons. As part of a diversionary plan, Spitfire reluctantly cyber-synced with Robby and Thrash and attacked the Quintesson ship until it was destroyed by Terratronus. Following the victory, Aftermath grabbed Spitfire and split. Judgment Day, Part 2

Toys

EarthSpark

  • Chaos Terran Spitfire (1-Step Flip Changer, 2024)
Part of the sixth wave of Hasbro EarthSpark "1-Step Flip Changers", this version of Spitfire is a redeco of 1-Step Twitch, a simple toy that converts from robot to drone and vice-versa in, well, one step. While the drone-to-robot conversion must be done manually, robot-to-drone can be triggered by pressing the button in her midsection, unlocking the spring-loaded autotransformation. This can be more amusingly triggered by tipping Spitfire face-forward, as the button is designed to be the first part of the toy to hit the ground, thus popping her into drone mode in proper orientation. So less a "Flip Changer" than a "Trip Changer".

Released too late to be Ripclaw's Beast Wars: Uprising vehicular design.
  • Chaos Terran Spitfire (Warrior Class, 2025)
Released in the sixth wave of EarthSpark Warrior Class toys, "Chaos Terran Spitfire" is (naturally) a redeco of Warrior Class Twitch, transforming into a hover drone.
Spitfire features a "Combine and Ride" gimmick similar to the Energon Autobots' "Powerlinx" gimmick, that allows the figure to form an upper body to attach to a compatible vehicle mode, or to allow another "Combine and Ride" Warrior Class figure to attach to the top of their vehicle mode. Spitfire's combination connectors are also compatible with EarthSpark Cyber Combiner figures.
