Swordhawk Rules Addition I.ps
Swordhawk Rules Addition I.ps
This is the rst addition to The Swordhawk Attack Values by class and level
Rules, second edition. It was not included in said Attack values of
work because it \did not make the deadline". This Level Warrior Priest Rouge Wizard
is probably the way future additions is made. I 1 1 1 1 1
seriously doubt a third edition of The Swordhawk 2 2 1 1 1
Rules will ever be made. 3 3 2 2 1
Attack Value (AV): A measurement of a char- 4 4 3 2 2
acter's ability to ght in combat. It can be 5 5 3 3 2
read directly from the table below. 6 6 4 3 2
7 7 5 4 3
Armor Class (AC) A measurement of the char- 8 8 5 4 3
acter's armor. It is calculated from the old 9 9 6 5 3
AC as 10 10 7 5 4
AC = 10 + (10 old AC) 11 11 7 6 4
This requires that the signs in the Defensive 12 12 8 6 4
Adjustment column in the Dexterity table is 13 13 9 7 5
reversed. 14 14 9 7 5
15 15 10 8 5
This will bring changes to some rules: 16 16 11 8 6
Disarming/DAC is calculated by adding bonuses 17 17 11 9 6
to the AV instead of subtracting it from the 18 18 12 9 6
THAC0. 19 19 13 10 7
20 20 13 10 7
Blocking/BAC0 is now called Defense Value, DV,
and is calculated by adding bonuses to the
AV instead of subtracting them from the THAC0.
Parrying as given in the Player's Handbook, gives
an AC bonus equal to half the Attack Value
of the character, rounded down, plus one.
