PRIMARYDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES:
1. ToestablishdesigncriteriaandspecificationsforControlSystems&Instrumentationinaccordance
withtheprojectrequirements.
2. Identify&analyzedesignchanges&modifydesigndrawings&documentsaccordingly.
3. Involvementintheselectionofequipmentandmaterialstoprojectrequirements.
4. Initiatesthepreparationofquotationrequestsandpurchaseorderpackagesforprocurement.
5. Monitoringprogressandperformanceofengineeringcontractor/equipmentvendorsduringthe
executionofwork.
6. Ensuringthescopeofwork,proceduresandschedulesareadheredto.
7. Resolvingandrespondingtotechnicalqueriesfromengineeringcontractors/vendors.
8. Inspectequipmentatthefactorytoensurecompliancewithspecificationsandprocurement
documentation.
9. ParticipationinFactoryAcceptanceTest(FAT)andSiteAcceptanceTests(SAT)of
instrumentation/controlpackagesasnecessary.
10. DuringtheConstructionphase,assistinensuringthattechnicalstandardsandspecificationsare
compliedwith.
11. DemonstrateapersonalcommitmenttoHealth,SafetyandtheEnvironmentbyfollowingthe
CompanysHealth,Safety&EnvironmentalPolicy.
12. Attendandcontributetositeandprojecttechnicalmeetingsasnecessary.
13. AssistinMechanicalCompletionandhandoverdocumentationasnecessary.
14. Participatingincontractorcorrectiveactionsandensuringresolutionofnonconformities.
15. Precommissioning,Commissioningandstartupsupporttooperations.

ROLE&JOBSUMMARY:

ManagementlevelinterpersonalskillswithEPCCompanies&DesignConsultants.
Experiencewithlargemultidisciplineprojectswithsubstantialrelevantexperienceinpetrochemicalor
oilandgasprojectenvironment.
Experienceindevelopingengineeringdesigncriteriaandspecifications.
Preparationofquotationrequestsandpurchaseordersforequipmentsandmaterials.
ExperienceinDCS,SafetySystems(SIS),PLCandpackagedequipmentcontrolsystemsandfield
instrumentation.
KnowledgeandExperienceofFoundationFieldbustechnologywouldbeadvantageous.
Experienceinmanaging/coordinatingengineeringcontractorsandequipmentvendors.
HSEawareness&promotecompanyHSEpolicy.
ConversantwithInternationalandSaudiAramcocodesandStandards,IEC,IEEEandAmerican
standardsandsoftwarepackages:ETAP,NFPA(forFireProtection),OSHA(forsafetyregulationand
practices).

PreparationofInstrumentSheetsinvolvingTransmitter,ControlValve,PressureandLevelGauge,
OrificePlate,PressureandFlowSwitch.FamiliarwithRTU,LDS,DCS,PLC,ESD,P&IDincludingMaterial
TakeOff.
