METHODOLOGY FOR ROAD INVENTORY SURVEY


AND UPDATING IN ROAD INVENTORY SYSTEM

The team comprises of three manpower comprising of Engineer, Surveyor and


Asst. Surveyor.
The total time taken for the completion of the site activities is 9 weeks and 4.5
weeks is taken for the purpose of updating the datas in the road inventory system.
The instrument present with the team comprises of Global Positioning
System(GPS) for taking the Geocordinates of the Junction, Street Light, Sighnage,
Trees etc. Camera for takining necessary photographs of Landmarks and tapes for
the measurement road width in specific intervals.
The team will be taking the necessary data according to the specifications stated in
the BOQ and will be recording the above in the specified format at necessary
stated road intervals.
The formats are attached with the methodology for necessary approval.
After the collection of the data within the specified time, concerned Data Entry
Operators(DEO) along with the concerned person associated with the site
activities will be mobilised to the concerned office for the entry and updation of
the datas collected in the Road inventory system software.
After the entry of the data, the same will be checked by the client.
