TOOLS NEEDED FOR REPAIR.

28MM SOCKET.

SHIMANO OR
PARK TOOL CASSETTE TOOL.

15MM SOCKET.

SNAPRING PLIERS.

7.5WT OIL

DIRECTIONS
STEP 1. Remove the top caps PN# 70 & PN# 31 from the fork crown, the
cassette tool is used to remove the right plug and the 28mm socket is used to
remove the left plug.

STEP 2. Compress the fork and remove the spring PN# 80 from the right leg,
at this point you can drain the oil out of the fork into a drain pan or into your
buddies coffee cup at your own risk!!!

STEP 3. After the oil is drained out of the fork you can remove the footnuts
using the 15mm socket, remove the rebound cartridge by pulling it out of the
fork.

STEP 4. Pull the crown assembly away from the slider assembly. DO THIS
SLOWLY SO THAT YOU DO NOT DAMAGE THE LIP ON THE OIL SEALS

STEP 5. Now you will need to use the snap ring pliers to remove the snap ring
from the bottom of the right leg, after the clip is removed you will be able to
pull the pumping rod out of the stanchion tube.

STEP 6. You will need to remove PN# 85 from the pumping rod and place it to
the side for now.

STEP 7. Now you can start to put the fork together, MAKE SURE YOU ARE

contact the Marzocchi technical department for further AND OIL SEALS!! LUBE THE STANCHION TUBES WITH SOME FORK OIL
assistance at 661-257-6630 x131. AND THEN INSERT TUBES PAST THE DUST AND OIL SEALS. the left leg will
require 30ccs of oil and the left leg has a oil 55mm oil level. You will measure
Marzocchi Suspension the oil level with the stanchions compressed and the coil out of the fork.

STEP 8. Remember PN# 85 take this spacer and place it on top of the spring

in the right leg. replace the plug units and you are good to go.
