WE BELIEVE THAT broadcasting in the Philippines should reflect the hopes and dreams of a freedom loving people; THAT

broadcasting is a powerful medium in shaping our country's cultural, social and economic growth and development; THAT broadcasting, because of its immediate and lasting impact on the public, demands of its practitioners a high sense of responsibility, morality, fairness and honesty at all times. THAT broadcasting has an obligation to uphold the properties and customs of civilized society, maintain the respect of the rights and sensitivities of all people, preserve the honor and the sanctity of the family and home, protect the sacredness of individual dignity, and promote national unity 2007 Broadcast Code of the Philippines

BABES!! Diyan ko kinuha sa preamble ng 2007 Broadcast Code of the Philippines itong mga pinagsasabi ko sa baba .

Broadcasting is not just the distribution of audio and video content to a dispersed audience via digital transmission media such as radio and television, but it is also an instrument. It is an instrument which people use to reflect the hopes and dreams of a freedom loving people, to shape the countrys cultural, social, and economic growth and development, to maintain the respect of the rights and sensitivities of all people, to preserve the honor and sanctity of the family and home, to protect the sacredness of individual dignity, and to promote national unity.

Having all of these as obligations of broadcasting, challenges, advancements, strategies, and trends are needed in order for it to be able to maintain its capacity to serve it purpose to the people.

Broadcastings nature, as history shows, is to follow social trends.

When there was still no digital transmission media, people use papers, stones, voices, and etc., as the media of communication. As time goes by, inventions of digital transmission media emerged which resulted to the rising of radio broadcasting, then later on, television broadcasting .

In todays broadcasting, live pack, virtual presence and, hologram effect are used. These advancements clearly show that broadcasting never stops moving forward. It never stops innovating.

What the future holds for broadcasting, no one knows. It lies solely to the people and their determination to innovate and improve further this instrument called broadcasting.

Challenges, advancements, strategies, and trends are helping broadcasting as it goes along its way to its future.
