ED The best thing you can do for the planet is purchase everything second hand. And dont toss anything that can be repaired, reused, or donated. DEXTER There was too much blood at the scene to distinguish it. DEBRA Two weapons... two assailants? DEXTER No. The first strike was impulsive. He caught the carotid by chance. But once the victim was prone, he picked up a more controlled weapon. Why? DEBRA
DEXTER Probably to make sure the job was finished. (looking at photo) Though the spacing between wounds does suggest some hesitation. BATISTA Great. We got a second weapon to find along with the sick-fuck who used it.

INT. RITAS HOUSE - KITCHEN - NIGHT The quaint kitchen has been transformed to an intimate dinner with candles and cloth napkins. Rita takes a sip of wine as Dexter stabs at his last bites of salmon. DEXTER This is amazing. Did you use a basting brush or magic wand? Rita tilts her head, happily. RITA I thought we deserved some grown-up food and alone time. DEXTER A nice surprise to have you to myself on a Tuesday. And thats not just the salmon talking. Rita smiles. Then she takes a courageous breath.
