Subject: Autoclave door adjustment training instruction Purpose To define how to adjust the automatic door Type A of horizontal autoclave model 6060, 6090, 6666 and 6696 on customer site.

Door Inspection
Please follow the below instruction and perform necessary corrective action if needed: Remove the door cover. The door locking mechanism should be exposed to you. Please see picture A.

When door is locked, please check with a caliper or any other measurement tools that the lower and upper locking arms in both sides (total 4) are been pushed out at least 3 mm (from door hinge to beginning of the phase) out of the frame. Please see picture B.

Please check that all door hinge bolt holder, are tight. Worn bolts should be replaced. (See picture c)

Should the locking arms, are not been pushed out at least 3 mm, please check the following: Door hinge is not distorted and well aligned as showed in picture D The arm guider holder are lined up (straight line) between point 1, 2 and 3 (See picture A)

Door Adjustment Procedure


If any of the above parts are bended or not aligned properly, please order new door hinge and guide holder mechanism (2) and notify international service immediately to provide you any necessary repair support. After replacing the failed parts please follow the bellow instructions: a. Check that the door locking switch (Switch C in picture E) is functioning properly by pushing it in, from the limit switch side and it returns back freely. Repeat this operation few times. If the switch doesnt move freely replace the part, by removing the limit A and reinstalled a new one. Adjust the screw that pushes it if necessary. b. Align the door limit switch (limit A in picture E) so it will be activated only when the door is fully closed. c. Close the air supply main inlet valve and release the air from the pipes. d. Push out the locking arms using the manual handle and confirm that they crossed the frame in both sides at least 3 mm (from door hinge to beginning of the phase) as showed in picture B. e. Adjust the arms micro switch (micro switch B in picture E) so it will be activated only in such position.( Paragraph c).

f. Please connect all pipes, open the main inlet compressed air valve and try to operate the door several times to verify that everything tight properly. g. Run cycle of 134C then open the door and view that all parts in proper condition, according to the attached pictures.
