Candidatesseekingregistrationasalicensingsubmittingengineerinthe
constructionindustrymusthavetherelevantworkingexperiencetothe
fieldofengineeringwhichhewishestopractice.
OnapprovalofthecandidatesapplicationbytheBoard,thecandidateis
allowedtositfortheexamination.

Part A The Common paper was to be taken by all candidates. This paper was nontechnical in nature but would test on the candidates knowledge of laws governing the
profession, the responsibility of a professional towards the general public and
standards of professionalism and ethical behavior. There were two papers for this Part
i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates must pass both papers at one sitting.
Part B This was the technical paper which was on civil & structural, mechanical and
electrical engineering. Candidates will sit for the paper in the relevant subject which
they wish to practice. The Examination will test the candidates competency within his
respective field of practice. There were two papers for this Part i.e. Paper 1 and
Paper2. Candidates must pass both papers at one sitting.
