Bulong Pari is a whispering game popularly known in the Visayan


region as Honghonganay.

Find the Blue Bird

How to Play the Game:


1. Choose one person to be the priest.
2. Form 2 groups with equal number of members. Each group
must have a team leader.
3. These 2 groups will form parallel lines, facing each other.
Team leaders should be at one end of the line, closest to the
priest. The priest will stand a few feet away from the team
leaders.
4. Team leaders will determine by toss coin or jack-en-poy who
is Team A and Team B.
5. The priest calls Team A leader to approach. Team A leader
whispers a name of a Team B member, then falls back in
line.
6. The priest calls on Team B, saying, Lapit!
7. Any player from Team B can now step out of the line to
approach the priest. (Tactic: Team members can confer, but
without speaking out loud, who should step forward.)
8. If the player that steps forward is, in fact, the one that Team
A leader whispered to the priest, the priest says Bung! and
puts the player in prison.
9. If the player is not the one that Team A leader whispered to
the priest, then that player approaches the priest and
whispers a name of a Team A member.

This is a special kind of hide-and-seek/scavenger hunt. Players are to


hunt down four characters and answer riddles to gain the answer to
the question, Where is Haring Putis bluebird?

How to Play the Game:


1. There is a one-hour time limit before the bluebird is lost
forever.
2. Assemble at the DFA booth at the appointed hour to hear
Sisa speak of losing Haring Putis precious treasure, the
bluebird, and her own true name. The key to finding her true
name lies with four characters you will encounter around the
convention center.
3. Each character you approach will ask you a bugtong (riddle).
Answer it correctly to gain the characters name and a clue
about Sisas name.
4. Solve the riddles, follow the clues, and obtain Sisas true
name.

5. Help the lady remember her name, and she might just
remember where Haring Putis bluebird can be found!

How to Play the Game:
1. Two players face off in a game of speed, chance and wit.
Match rock, paper and scissors in one-second intervals, in one
best-of-five round.
2. Two referees will oversee each game. After doing five rounds,
the referees must unanimously declare a winner. In case of a
draw or a 50/50 decision, players must do another best-of-five
round until a unanimous decision can be reached.
3. Players mustnt stop to think about their move, just do it! It is
the referees job to tally the scores and decide on the winner.
The referees unanimous decision is considered final.
4. Winners of the preliminary matches move up to the semifinal,
then final matches, until a grand champion is declared.

Paano Maglaro:
1. Bumuo ng ilang grupo (3 hanggang 7 katao) at bigyan ang
inyong sarili ng clan name.
2. Pumili ng isang taya. Babansagin siyang Mananakop.
3. Hahabulin ni Mananakop ang mga tao at ang kanyang
mahuhuli ay magiging parte ng kanyang clan.
4. Sisikapin ng Mananakop na ubusin ang ibang mga clan. Pero,
kapag ang isang clan ay may isa na lamang na natitirang
miyembro, kapag siya ay nahuli ng Mananakop, hindi siya
mahuhuli kundi siya ay magiging Clan Avenger.
5. Ang Clan Avenger ay pwedeng manghuli ng myembro ng clan
ng Mananakop. Bawat kanyang mahuli ay magiging kakampi
niya.

6. Pwede pa ring mabawi ng Mananakop ang na-rescue ng isang


Clan Avenger kung muli niya itong mahuhuli, o mahuli siya ng
mga kakampi ng Mananakop.
7. Ang mga Clan Avenger ay pwedeng mag-alyansa para tugisin
ang Mananakop. Hindi sila pwedeng hulihin muli ng
Mananakop o ng mga kakampi niya (may immunity sila).

8. Mahuhuli lang ang Mananakop ng isang Clan Avenger at


kapag wala na siyang mga kakampi.
9. Matatapos ang laro kapag nahuli ang Mananakop sa loob ng
isang oras.
