Discrete Manufacturing
Production orders are used for the production of goods in the discrete manufacturing applications.

Repetitive Manufacturing
Repetitive manufacturing environments are characterised by the high-volume, long- term
production of goods. These goods or materials are product on the basis of production version
that describes how the product must be manufactured.
13 Inspection type is active for inspection lot origin 13 repetitive manufacturing.
The rate routing is specified in the production version.
Variant configuration
You can inspect a product using characteristics specification from the variant configuration for
the
following inspection lot origins.
01 Goods receipt for purchase order
03 Inspection during production
04 Goods receipt from production
Batch Management
When a material in a plant is identified as a batch material, each quantity of the material must
be assigned a batch number. Whenever a goods movement take place, you must specify the
Material number

10 Inspection for deliveries to customer
(With reference to a sales order)
11 Inspection for deliveries to without sales order
(Without reference to a sales order)
12 Inspection for general deliveries
(Without reference to a customer)
