SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENTAL,

AND SECURITY POLICY STATEMENT

Intercontinental Terminals Company shall provide a safe, healthful, and secure work environment for our associates,
customers, contractors, visitors, neighbors, and the public. This commitment is reflected in our day-to-day activities by
utilizing our core values of Safety, Honesty, Integrity, Dedication, and Respect. With this commitment from all
associates, we will achieve our Vision of Customer Care and Operational Excellence and the Guiding Principles of
Responsible Care.

Intercontinental Terminals Company shall:

Achieve the highest standard of an incident and injury free workplace.


Provide leadership and enforcement of all safety, health, environmental, and security programs.
Demonstrate a visible and ongoing commitment; as well, as continuous improvement in process safety
performance and product safety and stewardship.
Train associates to think Safety while they are performing their assignments, as well as develop awareness of
the health, environmental, and security impacts of their assignments.
Develop positive moral and ethical attitudes towards safety, health, environment, and security in all associates.
Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations and other subscribed to requirements.
Report near misses, unsafe conditions or acts observed, all injuries, accidents, incidents, or any possible
violation of federal, state, or local laws, rules or regulations and other known requirements.
Aid in the detection, intervention, elimination, and correction of potential hazard(s).
Train associates that every associate has the right, and duty, to stop any job which is not deemed safe with the
assurance of no reprisal.

To achieve this we will:

Ensure that all associates act according to ITCs Core Values.


Set targets and measure progress to ensure continuous improvement in SHE&S performance.
Ensure that all of ITCs associates have a safe and healthy workplace through engineering and administrative
controls.
Provide a safe harbor for our associates and contractors.
Provide education and training programs to enable our associates to meet their responsibility for compliance
with this policy.
Provide accurate safety, health, environmental and safety information to all stakeholders, contractors,
customers, and others who perform duties and/or services to ITC.
Protect the environment through appropriate design, operating procedures, practices, and promote the Guiding
Principles of Responsible Care.

ITC is a safe and dedicated partner whose associates are recognized


as proud leaders in customer care and operational excellence.
