Ensure material is approved via MIR.
MEP/CIVIL Check for Services Clearances.
1. Check model no., type, electrical components & capacity of
the units as per the approved technical details.

2. Check any damages incurred during rigging & installations.


3. Check if foundation, anchoring, vibration isolation devices &
units’ supports are installed.
4. Check for spray nozzles, outlet screens, unit basin, &
strainers are clean & free of any debris.
5. Check Condenser water filtration system is installed &
functional
6. Check condenser water makeup water piping installed &
functional.
Installation

7. Check the tower piping installation is as per the drawings &


all devices; gauges, isolation valves, equalizer line and
appurtenances are in place and are supported properly.
8. Check overflow and drain is functional and piped to a proper
discharge receptor.
9. Check fan drive if properly aligned & lubricated.

10. Check fan wheel is balanced, turns freely & fan motor
rotation. Check fan guard is properly installed.
11. Check that all electrical connections, wiring & control devices
are tight & properly wired & installed.
12. Check grounding if installed on the unit & its components
wherever required.

13. Check starter overload breakers installed and correct size.

14. Check VFD installation if correct & properly done.

15. Check drive location. Should not be subject to excessive


moisture, dirt & temperatures.
16. Check if drive size matches with motor size.

17. Check for cooling air flow path if clean & unobstructed.

18. Check integration of units & controls to BMS.

19. Check identification labels on the units & piping if properly


done & placed.
20. Check all safety parameters for all components & units
before & after the installation.
