Line-X: Problem Statement

The document outlines the rules and specifications for an autonomous robot competition. The challenge is for a robot to follow a black line on a white background to reach the finish line in the shortest time. Robots must be autonomous, under 25cm x 25cm, powered by under 12V, and can have up to 5 sensors. The winning team will complete the course in the minimum time without deviating from the track. Touching the robot during a run adds 10 seconds to the time. Rules specify team size and membership, participation is limited to undergraduates, and readymade kits are not allowed. The coordinator's decisions are final.
