BACHELOR OF COMPUTER APPLICATION

SEM-1
READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY:
 Assignments are to be submitted by each student online in student’s login.
 Assignments of each subject should be written (not typed and print-outs) by students on A4 Size-plan
papers on one-Side only.
 Only one file having collection of all assignments of individual students should be submitted.
 If the matter of two student will mach then assignment will be treated rejected and student will be
given zero marks. And no second chance will be given.
 After last date there is no provision of uploading assignments & no hard copy will be accepted under
any circumstances.

NOTE: All questions are compulsory.

BCA 101 (GENERAL ENGLISH)


Q-1. What are the sentences? Discuss about the elements of sentences.
Q-2. What are infinitives? Discuss the rules for using infinitive clauses?
Q-3. What are the rules to convert singular noun into plural noun?
Q-4. Discuss some rule of conversion of adjectives into comparative and superlative.
Q-5. What are the rule to convert direct speech into indirect speech?

BCA 102 (INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY)


Q-1. Write short notes on the following: (a) Electronic Signature Certificate (b) Encryption.
Q-2. What do you mean by data and information? State the difference between data and information in detail.
Q-3. What do you mean by a computer system? Explain the basic functions of a computer system.
Q-4. What do you mean by operating system? Explain about different types of operating system.
Q-5. What do you mean by the term ‘Internet’? State its basic applications.
