I. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

 Title: Amateur Boxing Tournament


 Type of Project: Sports Activity
 Project Proponent: LGU Ocampo
 Date of Implementation: August ___, 2018
 Project Venue: Ocampo Sports & Cultural Complex
 Budget Requirement: P 190,200

II. PROJECT OBJECTIVES

a. To provide an avenue to develop and to showcase the talent and skills of the
boxing aficionados of Ocampo and from other nearby municipalities.
b. To promote fitness, discipline, friendship, fair play, respect, self esteem and self
confidence among competitors.
c. To increase quality of life by providing a alternative to anti-social behavior such
as drugs & alcohol abuse.

III. PROJECT PLAN

TOURNAMENT BOUT - The tournament bout shall composed of:


a) Main Event
b) Regular Bout.

WEIGHT DIVSION - The division shall be according to the weight classes of the
competitor as per determine by the Amateur Boxing Association of the Philippine
(ABAP).

PARTICIPANTS - The Regular Bout of the Amateur Boxing Tournament is open to all
interested local amateur male boxer who are resident of Ocampo, Camarines Sur.

QUALIFICATION - The competitor shall met the following qualifications:


a) Male
b) 15 years old and above
c) A resident of Ocampo, Camarines Sur.
d) Must be physically fit.

ENTRIES - The entries shall be first come, first serve basis as determine according to
the weight classes and requirement as well as the eligibility of the competitor.

MATCH-UP DAY – The match-up day of the tournament shall be scheduled one week
before the day of the tournament. During this date, participant is matched according to
their weight qualification.
