Rubber Concrete Summary Sheet

This document summarizes a study on the use of rubber aggregates in concrete. The study investigated replacing normal coarse aggregates in concrete with rubber pieces at percentages ranging from 10% to 50%. Several concrete mixtures were prepared with varying rubber replacement levels. Tests were performed to measure the compressive strength, split tensile strength, and flexural strength of the rubber concrete mixtures and compare them to normal concrete. The results showed that concrete can be produced using rubber aggregates as a partial replacement for normal aggregates, which could provide an environmentally-friendly way to reduce waste while lowering the cost of concrete production.

investigate the use of rubber pieces as coarse
aggregate in the concrete. Concrete tested with varying
percentages of rubber from 10 to 50% of normal
aggregates. Compressive strength, split tensile strength
and flexural strength of concrete is measured and
comparative analysis is made.
