JOB DESCRIPTION

 Testing and commissioning of all Protective equipment from 415 volts to 380 kV System and
conduct routine tests of all relays.
 Inspection of control and relay panel, preparation of Test Report and cable schedule for
sub-station.
 Testing and commissioning of control & relay panel for Transformer, Bus Coupler, Bus-Transfer,
and Line feeder.
 Experience with
 Over Current and Earth Fault Relays (Directional and Non-Directional).
 Distance Relays, Differential Protection Relay
 Over Load Relays, Thermal over Load Relays, Check Synchronizing Relay, Dead Line/Bus
Charging Relay, Under Voltage Relay, Over Voltage Relay, etc.
 Knowledge of Transformer protection (Transformer Differential Protection & REF Protection), Bus
Bar Protection, Distance Protection and Synchronizing Scheme.
 Testing & commissioning of CT, P.T., CVT and Power Transformer
 Operation and Maintenance of sub-station.
 Trouble shooting of all Electrical circuits, control and protection circuits.
