What are two kinds of
ways animals are adapted? Organisms adapt to fit their environments. Some adaptations are structural. They are changed body parts that help an organism survive. Other adaptations are behavioral. They are activities that help organisms. Both structural and behavioral adaptations are inherited.
The hummingbird has legs that
can tuck close to the body. This makes it easier for the hummingbird to fly. This is a structural adaptation.
