Reaction, Resin Degassing & Extrusion (Finishing).
 Assigned as Petrokemya’s Process Engineer during the Metallocene Catalyst
commercial trial run in Unipol Fluidized bed Polyehtylene Reactor in Sabic Polyolefine in
Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
 Assigned as Petrokemya’s Process Lead for the Polyethylene Plant Metallocene Project
which is currently on FEED Stage
 Assigned as Petrokemya’s Process Lead for the Polyethylene Plant Vent Recovery
Membrane Demonstration Run.
 Assigned as Petrokemya's Process Engineer during the Process Design Package (PDP)
Review for Gas Hydrotreater Units and Pyrotol Units with the Licensors--CB&I Lummus
held in Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA and Axens, Paris, France.
 Assigned as Petrokemya's Process Engineer during Front End Engineering Design
(FEED) phase to Debottleneck two trains of Gas Hydrotreater Units and Benzene
(Pyrotol) Units which was held at CB&I Lummus in The Hague, Netherlands.

JG Summit Petrochemical Corporation (JGSPC) is the first integrated polyethylene (PE) and
polypropylene (PP) plant in the Philippines. It is a joint venture between JG Summit Holdings Inc.
of the Philippines and Marubeni Corporation of Japan. The manufacturing processes are based
on the UNIPOL® PE process.
 Reports to the Process Engineering Manager.
 Assigned as Process Engineer to support the daily operations of (HDPE and LLDPE)
Polyethylene Plants (Capacity for each Reactor: 11 Ton per hour of HDPE & 11 ton per
hour of LLDPE--UNIPOL Fluidized Bed Process) in the areas of Purification, Reaction,
Resin Degassing & Extrusion (Finishing).
 Assigned as Process Engineer during PDP, FEED & EPC phases of the Polyethylene
Plant (HDPE & LLDPE) Capacity Expansion Project (60% Capacity increase) with Toyo-
Thai Engineering held in Bangkok, Thailand.
 Participates in the HAZOP and SIL studies for all the process design modifications during
the engineering phase of the Polyethylene Plant Capacity Expansion Projects in the
areas of Ethylene Purification, BMC Catalyst System, UCAT J Catalyst System, Product
Purge Bin, Resin Conveying & Solid Additive System, Pelleting/Extrusion Process, Vent
Recovery System, Pellet Storage & Packaging
 Provides support to the Operations, particularly in the two major area units such as the
Polyethylene and Polypropylene Plants.
 Provides process improvement services, including lead process improvement studies,
performance optimization, incident investigations, HAZOP, JHA, economic evaluations,
technical audits and safety studies for one area of Major Units (Polyethylene and
Polypropylene) and assigned OSBL unit.
 Coordinates with lead engineering groups to develop detailed engineering of process
modifications for projects and plant trials
 Performs data gathering and analysis for process modifications and trials.
 Provides direct process engineering leadership in implementation of small sized projects
that will improve safety, production efficiency, profitability, and operability
 Designated as the department’s P&ID Controller who facilitates processing
and development of P&ID
 Designated as the department’s Process Design Package (PDP) Controller who
facilitates processing and development of PDP.
 Designated as the Plant’s Process Safety Auditor and leads in safety walk thru and trip
testing activities to ensure process safety and integrity of process control systems in the
event of plant emergency.
 Designated as the lead process engineer for the corrosion monitoring and
implementation of the water treatment program of the Plant’s Closed Loop Cooling Water
System (700,000 liters in total volume), Total Boiler Water System (Feed Water, Boiler
Water, Steam and Condensate)
 Certified as an Authorized Permit Issuer of JG Summit Petrochemical Corporation as
mandated by the permit-to-work system by the company.

 Reports to the Business Unit Manager


 Monitor the Water Quality Parameters and the Processes of both the production and
distribution facilities including Multi-Stage Flash Distillation Plants
 Overall supervision and inspection of Reverse Osmosis Plants 1, 2 and 3, Pump Stations
and Wells operational tasks, process systems and activities of personnel during the shift
 Submit technical reports for any process improvements or modifications and recommend
relevant innovations on various areas of improvement in the facility to optimize the RO
process
 Carry out troubleshooting and take necessary decisions and actions during abnormal
operation and emergency situations in the plant. These also include membrane profiling
in case of mechanical leaks due to o-ring deterioration, chemical cleaning, multimedia
filter backwashing, cartridge filter replacement, pre-treatment and post-treatment
chemical dosing adjustments, etc.
 Monitor the daily process parameters such as % Salt Rejection, Membrane Flux, Osmotic
Pressure, Net Driving Pressure, Normalized Permeate Flow Rate, Normalized Differential
Pressure, Brine and product water streams LSI (Langelier Saturation Index), Multimedia
Filter and Micron Filter Differential Pressure, Feed and product pH, Product Water Free
Residual Chlorine (FRC), Feed Water SDI (Silt Density Index), Iron, etc. and immediately
execute action to address any process deviation
 Authorized by Marafiq to implement the company¡¦s Standard Safety Procedures for
issuing permit to work (PTWC) and to ensure proper equipment isolations as per the
established Marafiq Standard Isolation Procedures before issuing the permit to work
 Lead plant safety initiatives, proper housekeeping and fulfill HSE requirements in
accordance with the company¡¦s safety and housekeeping guidelines, policy and
standard procedures
