Identifying Laboratory Values: Arterial Blood Gases

This document lists and defines normal reference ranges for numerous laboratory values including: arterial blood gases like oxygen and carbon dioxide levels; electrolytes such as sodium, potassium, and chloride; hematology measures including hemoglobin, white blood cell count, and platelets; lipid panels; acid base values; cardiac enzymes; hormones; vitamins; tumor markers; and other miscellaneous tests. It provides the high and low limits considered normal for each lab value. An altitude over 3,000 feet can lower normal oxygen levels.
