Calibrating Zero Water on a Micro 20 Board

1) Make sure there is not any water remaining in the machine, by


removing the drain valve.
2) Shut off the power to the machine.
3) Remove the top panel of the machine.
4) Remove the Water Level Hose (completely) and clean it.
5) Replace the hose and test, if the problem persist continue.
6) Cover the soap box to prevent overspray.
7) Make sure machine is empty of linen.
8) Turn power on to machine.
9) Push and hold the top button until “Test” appears on the display
10) Once “Test” appears, immediately and rapidly press the bottom
button 6 times
11)If “Close” appears on the display, close the door, and press the top
button
12) All of the LED’s should now light up. This is normal
13) Push the top button and the cylinder should now rotate to the
left
14) Push the bottom button, and --- -- - will now display and the
cylinder will stop
15) Push the bottom button again, and the cylinder will rotate the
other way
16) Push the bottom button again, and the machine will go into
“Distribution speed” if applicable.
17) Push the bottom button again, and the machine will go into
“Low speed Spin” if applicable.
18) Push the bottom button again, and the machine will go into
“High speed Spin”.
19) Push the bottom button, and --- -- - will now display and the
cylinder will stop.
20) Push the bottom button again, and the current temperature will
be displayed.
21) Push the middle button, and inlet valves I7 and I5 should open,
and the temperature will be displayed.
22) Push the middle button, and inlet valves I2and I4 should open,
and the temperature will be displayed.
23) Push the middle button, and inlet valves I6 and I3 should open,
and the water level will be displayed.
24) Push the middle button again, and only the water level will be
displayed.
25) This is the Zero Water Level, wait until the water has time to
drain out and then it should read 0.0.
26) If it does not read 0.0 locate the potentiometers on the Micro 20
board,(these are blue with a brass screw on top).
27) The one closet to the Water Level transducer (this has the
small rubber hose attached) is the one for the Zero Water Level
adjustment. (The other is the Gain and should never be touched).
28) Watch the display as you turn the Brass screw on the
potentiometer, turn the screw slowly until the numbers read 0.0. Use
caution turning the potentiometer, if you turn it past where it reads
0.0, this will set the Zero Water Level below zero and cause the
water level to be off. The numbers will not read below 0.0.
29) Now remove the Water Level Hose from the Water Level
Transducer and install a short piece of hose to the Water Level
Transducer.
30) Blow into the hose (use caution not to use too much force) the
number should rise and when the pressure is released, the number
should fall back to 0.0 slowly.
31) If the numbers do not return to 0.0 adjust the potentiometer
again using the same procedure and cautions as above.
32) If it returns to 0.0 remove the short piece of hose from the
Water Level Transducer, and replace it with Water Level Hose.
33) Turn off the power to the machine and replace the top panel.
34) Turn on the power to the machine you are Done!
