Information Sheet
Introduction
We are students from the University of Baguio Science Senior High School enrolled in
Practical
Research (RESRCH2) conducting a study entitled “PARENTING STYLES AS A
PREDICTOR OF ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIPS AMONG HIGH SCHOOL
STUDENTS”. We are inviting your child/ward to be an informant of our study.

Purpose of the Study


The purpose of conducting the study is to know whether Parenting Styles predicts the
satisfaction of a Romantic Relationship.

Respondent Selection
Ma’am/Sir, we are gathering data from students who are your wards’ age-16 to 18 years
old- because we believe that they are best suited for our research study since they are all students
with a parent or guardian who reared them with a certain parenting style that influenced their
romantic relationships.
Voluntary Participation
Your decision to participate in this study is entirely voluntary. It is your choice on
whether you
should participate or not.

Right to Withdraw
Since your participation in this study is voluntary, you are given the right to withdraw
your
statement at any time during or after the conduct of the study. If you decide to withdraw, just
inform the
researchers and no questions will be asked.

Confidentiality
The information that we collect from this research project will be used for academic
purposes
only and the information that will be collected from the research will be kept confidential so no-
one, but the researchers will be able to see it. In order to provide and assure you of your personal
information, giving of names will not be necessary but the assigned sex at birth will be needed.
Instead, we will label the questionnaires with numbers. Only the researchers will know what
your number is.

Informed Consent
Through the use of consent form, your name will be written in the manuscript as source
of data
subjected to your consent.
