Narrative Report On Campus Journalism

Dampil Elementary School participated in the annual Campus Journalism Conference held by the District of Lagonglong. Ten schools from the district joined the writing competition held at Kabulawan Elementary School. Dampil Elementary School sent ten participants who competed in various journalistic events such as news writing, feature writing, and editorial cartooning. Several of Dampil's participants received awards, with four students receiving second place and one receiving third place in their respective categories. The conference aimed to enhance students' writing abilities and expose them to journalistic skills.

NARRATIVE REPORT ON CAMPUS JOURNALISM

A. Introduction
Writing is a skill where most pupils find hard to undertake. In order
to overcome such difficulty, they must be exposed to different journalistic
skills for them to enhance their ability in constructing report stories
connected with their experiences.

B. Activities

The District of Lagonglong holds Campus Journalism Conference


every year to test the pupils skills in writing. In the same manner, this is also a
chance for the teachers to show how will they are inculcating the skill to their
pupils as far as writing activity is concern. Kabulawan Elementary School was
chosen to be the venue on the said event on September 16, 2014. Ten schools
comprising Lagonglong District joined the contest.

Dampil Elementary School sent ten participants to take challenge in the


different journalistic skills. The pupils did their best to win the competition.

follows:
