Before Starting Operation

1. Daily Inspection
a. Ensure the lift hall and car sills are free from dust and water.
b. Run the lift for one round trip to confirm lift operates without abnormality.
c. Check emergency devices (i.e. Inter Communication System and Emergency car lighting) for proper
function.

Functional Switches inside the Service Cabinet under normal condition


1. Run – Stop Switch - RUN (STOP for Maintenance only)
2. Inspection Switch - AUTO (INSP for Maintenance only, and lift is operable only by
Manual operation)
3. Up Button(Optional)
4. Down Button(Optional)
5. Pass Button(Optional) - Press only during maintenance to stop Hall Call. (by-pass HC)
6. Light Switch(Optional) - LIGHT (OFF for minimize use of energy)
7. Attendant Service Switch (Optional) - NORMAL if without Elevator Attendant
W.A. if with Elevator Attendant
8. Fan Switch (Optional) - FAN (OFF if no need for ventilation)
9. Independent Service Switch (Optional) - NORMAL for automatic operation
10. Door Switch (Optional) - DOOR automatic open and close of lift door (OFF to by-pass
Door Open Button and Door Close Button on COP)
11. Secret Call Floor Switch (Optional) - Provided only when the Secret Call Service Operation has
been ordered
