 Scope of work include welding and erection of CS & LTCS 30”, 36”, Naphtha, Butane, propane and Gasoline
pipeline on onshore & off shore from Tie in location (Fans) thorough the Aramco bridge offshore platforms up to
Berth 71 & 72(100% NDT Examination requirement as per Aramco standard/procedure for all butt joints &
supports of all CS, LTCS Pipelines when it erected/welded over Aramco Bridge/off shore platform up to Berth 71
& 72).
 Supervising and monitoring the quality program of contractors at different construction stages for
multidiscipline as Mechanical, Welding, material receiving inspection & conducting welder performance
qualification test with third party.
 Review approved WPS & PQR, review welder performance rejection rate as per the weekly welding report.
 Involved in various activities like daily construction site surveillance, daily welding inspection activity at
construction site & fabrication shops, holding and baking oven inspection for low hydrogen electrodes.

 Shut down activities involve cutting and removing existing piping portion of 30”,36” diameter of Naphtha,
Butane, Gasoline & propane and welding inspection of new piping Spool materials CS &LTCS in place of existing
piping after erection at off shore platforms(Berth 71 & 72).
 Review approved WPS & PQR and counter check all parameters of welding and welding operator according to
WPS.
 Carrying out fit up inspection to rectify any high low mismatch before welding .carrying out welding inspection
before, during and after welding with contractor’s welding inspectors .100% NDT Examination for all butt joints
and supports.
 Carrying out 100% LPT Examination at all bevel ends of pipes while cutting for bevel preparation.
 Loading Arms Installation at Berth 71 & 72: Material receiving inspection replaced existing loading arms and

 Attending welder Qualification test at Shop, Inspection of calibration certificates of holding ovens baking ovens,
fit up inspection of butt joints to rectify any mismatch/high low before welding, visual weld inspection before,
during and after welding.
 Monitoring welding of CS, SS, LTCS and High or Low alloy steel material pipes and counter check all welding
parameters according to WPS. Weld visual inspection of joints before during and after welding.
 Review P&ID and Isometric weld Map drawings.
 Selection of Butt joints for NDT 100% and 10%RT and other NDT Methods as per the piping class service
