of LTE Network.

Objective:

I am an active team member of RF- Planning & Optimization team. My role in the
organization is to evaluate customer’s specification and needs of Radio Network, effective
and timely delivery of RNO services related to radio network design and performance
improvement by actively pursuing design & optimization of customers Radio networks.

Work Experience:

Currently working in Ericsson Global India Pvt Ltd, Chennai (Jan-2015 to Till Date)

Technology: LTE, RAN – Samsung/Nokia

 Currently involved in LTE KPI (CFR, CDR, and HOSR) Performance monitoring and
maintenance for Sprint Samsung market.

 Have been a key player in LTE activities like LTE KPI performance monitoring, HO
Analysis and Parameter Audit & Implementation using LTE System Manager by
gaining knowledge of Samsung LTE system in a shorter period.

 To optimize & propose the New parameter setting to meet the X2 HOSR-99.50%
& S1 traffic as below 0.5% in overall network

 Traffic Imbalance analysis on day-to-day basis and resolving the problems by


taking necessary actions on it.

 Analyzing the cause for CDR, Access failures and Sleepy cells using Netact
reports.

 Analyzing the S1 and X2 interface between neighbor cells and taking necessary
actions.
 Performing regular activities like X2, PCI, Neighbor and Golden parameter audit.

Job Profile:

 Performed Technical Site Survey and Prepare a report and also Site Visit at
Nominal/Candidates location to choose the best option based on Simulation
coverage.

 Responsible for the New Site Designing/Planning based on Coverage Gaps and
Capacity limited areas

 Responsible to supervise based on daily activity plan to Drive Tester, Cluster


Optimization activities and analysis Team (SSV and Cluster Optimization).

 Pre-and Post-Launch Site Optimization based on Neighbor Auditing including Tilt and
Azimuth implementation based on Google Earth, Coverage Plots

 Responsible for all Sites Drive Testing on every New Sites. Hands On experience on
X-CAL for drive test and X-CAP for Post Processing tools

 Pre-Launch Planning of all LTE Sites based of all Sites Height, Tilt and Azimuth
implementation based on Simulation Results and Latest Google Maps to cover 90%
of Outdoor Coverage

 KPI analysis on daily basis - remedial action for poor KPI cells (SD Block, SD Drop,
TCH Block, TCH Drop, TASR & HOSR) & zero cells. Parameter audit and ND report

Optimization:

 Monitoring & maintaining the network KPI’s (TCH Drop Rate, SDCCH Drop Rate,
TCH/SDCCH Blocking/Congestion, HO Successes Rate, etc).
 Handling of C/I and C/A issues by change of frequency, parameter adjustments and
fine tuning for functioning of the network at optimum levels.
 Coordination with RF Drive Test Engineer.
 Analyzing network related problems (Call drop, poor quality, poor C/I, interferences
and Handover failures etc.) and recommending relevant solutions
 Checking assigned Handovers and suggesting addition or removal of neighbors

4. Worked with GIS (Global Innovsource private limited) as a Drive Test Engineer
from July 2010 to Feb 2011

Role: -
 Physical Optimization of cells for proper coverage & quality, maintaining cell borders by
using C1&C2 parameters and traffic control.
 Drive Testing using Genex probe1.53, Software to improve the network quality and
coverage.
 All Customer related complaints.
 Prepare Pre and Post Drive test reports, Problem cause and recommendation solutions.
