TITLE OF THE ACTIVITY PROGRAM SCHOOL BASED BSP and GSP ENCAMPMENT 2019
Rationale DO 68, S. 2003 – REVITALIZING THE BOY/GIRL SCOUTING MOVEMENT IN SCHOOLS. The Scouting
Movement, through the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) and the Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP), is
an effective program in the leadership and value formation of every child. It helps in building confidence
and self-esteem, learning important life skills and leadership skills, team building, outdoor adventure,
education, and fun! Scouts learn how to make good choices and to take responsibility for their actions so
that they are prepared for their adult life as independent persons.
Objectives At the end of the 1-day BSP/GSP Encampment, the teachers and the pupils are expected to:
a. enhance, support, and develop boys and girls into well-rounded individuals with exemplary
character.
b. recognize the significant role of the BSP and the GSP in helping the school system mold pupils and
students into responsible and responsive citizens of the country.
c. effectively deliver their learnings to the scouts and develop in them patriotism, character and values
worth emulating and the life’s skill that would bring out the best in them.
Terminal Output a. Scouts would apply basic techniques and work with others to identify and develop their potential in
undertaking new and challenging activities.
b. Scouts would actively engage and cooperate in indoor and outdoor activities.
c. Describe their preferred leadership style and explain how this impacts on how they work with
others.
