I. GENERAL PROGRAM INFORMATION


Program Title School-Based Joint BSP-GSP Encampment 2023
This has always been part of DepEd’s program in promoting camaraderie among
scouters in which varied activities are prepared to help participants learn, enjoy,

II. RATIONALE

In line with the advocacy of the Department of Education in developing scouters into well-rounded individuals with exemplary
character worth the emulation of school children supported with its DepEd Order No. 68, S. 2003 also known as “Revitalizing the Boy
and Girl Scouting Movement in Schools”, Praxevilla Elementary School believes that this School-based Joint BSP-GSP Camporee is a
good manifestation to develop the principle of loving and serving God, of human dignity and the rights of individuals and of recognizing
the obligation of the scouters to develop and use their potential, thus, an ideal way to express the value formation of every child. This
activity provides opportunities for scouters and stakeholders to work collaboratively while at the same time stimulates their constructive
role in the society with the strong focus on the outdoors and survival skills. Moreover, it seeks to promote teamwork among scouters
and teachers, and encourages youth to achieve a deeper appreciation for service to others in the community.

III. OBJECTIVES

 Social Objectives
 Provide service to others
 Create opportunities for individuals to work with others in a group and to develop a sense of belonging to the group
 Provide youth with a sense of importance as individuals in the society
 Encourage and promote the interests and participation of pupils, teachers, stakeholders within the community
 Promote and foster social interaction among teachers leading to a positive sense of self-worth
 Environmental Objectives
 Promote the development and acquisition of tree-growing skills for a garbage-free and environment-friendly
community
 Personal Objectives
 Develop resourcefulness, cleanliness, inner satisfaction, personal worth and self-dignity
 Encourage responsibility, qualities of leadership and awareness of the need of the environment
 Reinforce ethical standards
 Boost self-confidence
 Educational Objectives
 Enhance learners skills in different areas through learning by doing
 Apply one’s knowledge with enthusiasm towards the activities
 Reinforce learners who are having difficulty in the dealing with reality and life’s circumstances

IV. PROGRAM CONTENTS

1. Meeting with the School Manager and teaching staff of the school
2. Meeting with the General PTA Officers and Faculty
3. Conducted meeting with the General PTA members for the proposed activity and its approval with the body
4. Creation of working committees for the activity
5. Submission of activity design to the office of the School Manager

VII. EXPECTED OUTPUT

1. Scouters who are of service to others reinforcing ethical standards in working with a team and who encourage responsibility,
qualities of leadership and awareness of the need of the community.
2. Scouters who provide good role models taking part in interesting and meaningful activities with their friends.

VIII. MONITORING AND EVALUATION

1. Attendance shall be checked and registration form shall be filled out.


2. Narrative Report shall be made, supported with pictures for proper documentation.
3. Liquidation Report will be presented to the School Managers and teachers on the conduct of the activity.
4. All supporting documents pertaining to the undertaking will be attached as the bases for the conduct of the competition.
5. Division Scouting Coordinator shall be furnished copy for proper documentation.

Officials fo the purpose of developing scouters into well-rounded individuals with exemplary
character worth the emulation of school children. This activity will be done on Thursday,
September 28, 2017 to Friday, September 29, 2017 and is recommended for further perusal and
approval.

Reviewed and recommended the activity entitled “ School-Based Joint BSP-GSP Camporee
2018”, for approval with the following provisions:
1. Only registered scouts shall join.
2. A registered scout shall present a Parents’ Consent that will serve as gate pass to join the
activity.
3. All contributions even if agreed by the PTA must be voluntary in nature.
4. Safety and security measures are in place.
5. The activity will not disrupt classes.
6. All teachers are involve in the activity
7. All supporting documents, minutes of meeting, pictures, and others will be attached as
bases for conducting such activity.
