Why are you applying for Financial Aid?

Since being an unemployed life learner, I can not afford to pay for online courses as I have no
monthly revenue. Living with my parents, I am only allowed a limited amount of allowance
monthly which covers my essentials thus I am in no position to pay for learning and
furthering my education through such online courses which this platform provides. Since
Coursera is open to providing education to massive population regardless of a person’s
limiting factors, his educational background, financial status and socio economic status,
availing this opportunity will greatly benefit me in the future. I’ve no work of my own to
budget the expanses to pay for the certificate of this course. In this circumstance, it is very much
difficult for me to gather such amount of money for the certificate. Financial Aid will help me
take this course without any adverse impact on my monthly essential needs. So I’m badly in
need of this financial aid. Receiving this Financial Aid will open a new horizon for me of the
world of Coursera courses, which in turn will help me in future. I also plan to complete all
assignments on or before time.
How will taking this course help you achieve your career goals?

I was a behavioral Science bachelors student till my graduation. But after much contemplation I
have realized pursuing a career in Artificial Intelligence will open new horizons for me as I want
to specialize in this field. Since I have spent the last four years on learning psychology, sociology
and anthropology I have realized I lack the necessary knowledge needed for this pathway that I
want to pursue. I want to take this course as I want to learn everything regarding the new career
prospects of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Computational Biology. I want to
complete the course due to my curiosity and also that I can put a good CV to get applied to a
job and masters program. This course will increase my job scenarios after graduation from an
accredited institution. It will aid in achieving better in carrying out various programs in a
computer language and enabling me an advantage over my competitors. A verified certificate I
will receive from this course of coursera will attach credibility to the certificate. Which will surely
help me in achieving my career goals in time.

Sir, the financial status of the family, is not too good to pay the loan amount. We already have a
lot of dept in the bank, and my parents are paying it regularly. It would make their life even
harder to add a new loan over them. Sir, I don't want to put any pressure over them. Sir, it would
be a great help for me to get a good job and help my family if I'm able to get this course.
