This daily lesson plan is for an English class of 4th grade students. The lesson focuses on communicating information about pastime activities. The pre-lesson involves students listing their own hobbies and sorting pictures of hobbies. The main activities have students working in pairs to answer questions about hobbies from the textbook and presenting their responses. Students then match words to pictures of hobbies and explain their reasoning. In the post-lesson, students write about hobbies they want to try in the future. The goal is for students to explain information about hobbies from texts and pictures.
