21-30.what is the importance and significance of knowing the common cooking measurement?
So it is important to know the common cooking measurement to do things right in cooking. We need at
least to have knowledge of it. Most chefs do measure, and when they don't, it is because they have
been cooking a long time. They understand the amounts of ingredients they are adding because they
started out measuring. As a student we need to learn from the basics taking one step for becoming
professionals.
