The tractor was cranking but not starting due to a damaged fuel solenoid fuse. Checking the fuel solenoid voltage found it was 0 volts, indicating the fuse was damaged. Replacing the fuse with a new one of the same amperage allowed the fuel solenoid to operate at 12 volts, allowing the engine to start. Subject
Engine can crank but machine can’t start

Problem/ Complaint

Start, stop solenoid fuse damage

Symptom
Air bleeding into the fuel line and replace new solenoid fuse

Troubleshooting /Service Step

Firstly, we checked the fuel level. It was ok. Then, we checked the battery electrolyte level. It is good too. Then, we
staring machine at least 5 to 8 seconds. Machine can crank but engine can’t start. Then, we bleeding air into the fuel
line from the fuel filter. We start the machine. It was not ok. So, we checked the fuel solenoid voltage. Normally, key
switch is ‘ON’ position we know that fuel solenoid voltage is 12-13 volts. But in this condition, we found that fuel
solenoid voltage is 0 volt. So, we thought that fuel solenoid fuse is damage. Then, we seek solenoid fuse and replace
new same ampere fuse. It was ok. Then, we measure fuel solenoid voltage. It voltage is 12V when we starting the
engine. It was ok.
Analysis
In Agrolux 95 machine, it can use fuel solenoid to start and stop for machine. When, we place key switch is ON
position, it can open fuel line and in off position close the fuel line. So, fuel solenoid is important to start and stop the
machine.

Action and Suggestion

If fuel solenoid can’t work properly, machine can’t start and stop. Because, solenoid can work machine start and
stop. Fuel solenoid is control 15A fuse. If, it fuse can damage solenoid can’t work.
