ACTION REPORT TO DEPARTMENT OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION

With reference the DOTE – Maintenance of Institution Campus Clean- Preventive


Measures to be taken on Dengue and other health hazards letter dated 17.08.2019

In our college camps the cleaning action was done by NSS volunteers and with the
supporting staff of the college.

 The NSS Volunteers and supporting staff were involved in the activity.

 Each group members were allocated with a particular area for cleaning.

 College campus, Hostels, Canteen, Play ground, Parking areas were cleaned.

 Few groups were asked to collect all the stones from the ground separately in
different sacs.

 The renewable such as dry leaves, twigs, papers etc. are collected and disposed
properly.

 Non-renewable wastes such as carry bags, plastic items etc. were collected
separately and hand over to the TCE, ENVIS CENTRE (Plastic waste
Management Centre) in our college, where its recycled.

 The sources of Dengue Mosquito breeding were identified and necessary action
was taken.

Hence necessary actions were taken and photographs are also enclosed with this
report for your kind reference.
