MUSIC CONTRACT

CONTRACT DETAILS
By signing this contract I/We hereby agree with the following points:-

1. I/We have to work with The Strings Records for the next five original compositions.
2. The compositional works (Recording/Mixing/mastering) will be done at The Cupids
Studio, Bongaigaon, Assam.
3. The original song(s) can be composed by either me/us, any other person or the
Cupids studio/Strings Records.
4. The song/lyrics should not be a copied one to any other compositions, be it
regional, National or International of any genre.
5. Any kind of cover or remake songs doesn’t get covered through this contract.
6. The five compositions to be produced through this contract doesn’t cover any
duration.
7. The songs will be distributed by The Strings Records through your Youtube Channel
on different musical platforms.( Non-Payable)
8. For setting caller tunes to your songs you have to pay to the Strings Records
accordingly.
9. Caller tune facility for folk songs, Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Geet etc is not available.
10. Charges for the musical works will include manual musician’s payment, depending
on the number of musicians required for the song by you.
11. The agreement doesn’t bind you to any particular genre of song.
12. The distribution of songs for more facilities (increase in number of subscribers,
likes etc) will depend on the payment accordingly.
13. A very high quality video performance with the song is not mandatory for
distribution, but if done, your songs may be promoted by other music labels too.
And this may include extra charges depending on the music label and also only if
you agree to do so.
14. Violating any of the agreement points will lead to the failure of contract and a legal
offence, for which the Strings Records will take legal actions.
15. In case you want to stop the contract, you may appropriately contact either The
Strings Records or the Cupids studio for the purpose and you have to pay the
remaining charges of the songs that you will not work with. Extra charges may
apply on this contract break.
16. For distributing Folk/ Rabindra Sangeet/Nazrul Geet etc, you have to apply for a
different contract.
17. In case of any changes of your address, Email, contact number, you have to notify
the strings Records for making the changes, or your distribution will not be
covered.

I have read the above terms and conditions and hereby agree to sign the contract
with this music label. All the information provided by me are true to the full of my
knowledge.
