Safety Program

Social distancing- One common form of social distancing is working from home,
which is obviously not an option for construction projects. But it is possible that
some portion of the team is not required to be on site every day and could work
from home.

Wearing of Proper PPEs- Any face mask policy should include flexibility. For
example, closer proximity between workers or work indoors could call for a more
protective mask than work outdoors.

Training- Require Training on COVID-19-related safety enhancements and

procedures. The training should be easy to follow and should include policies and
procedures for maximizing social distancing, using personal protective equipment
properly, and addressing actual or suspected COVID-19 cases in a manner that
minimizes continued spread of the virus.

14 | P a g e
Suspected or actual COVID-19 case- Develop policies and procedures to
promptly identify and isolate individuals with suspected or actual positive COVID-
19 results.

Communication- Assure lines of communication on quality issues are open and

flow freely between project sites and headquarters and with your subcontractors
and suppliers.
