Olivar of Halifax, Canada to discuss investing in and setting up a coconut fiber manufacturing plant in Tacloban City or Leyte Province, and to buy coconut products like virgin coconut oil. 2. The Chamber guarantees it will comply with Philippine immigration rules for Olivar's entry and stay, and ensure he leaves before his authorized period expires. 3. The Chamber also pledged to immediately notify the Philippine consulate in Halifax if Olivar departs the Philippines, providing his date of departure and flight details.

AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT AND GUARANTY

I, ARNALDO B. CASPE, Filipino, of legal age, married, with


residence address at SKY Bldg., Rizal Avenue, Tacloban City, after having
been duly sworn in accordance with law, hereby depose and state: THAT---

1. I am the PRESIDENT of the FILIPINO-CHINESE


CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OF TACLOBAN CITY, INC.
(FCCCTCI), also known as the CHAMBER, with business address at J.
Romualdez St., Tacloban City, and Tel. No. (053) 321-2202 or (053) 321-
2566.

2. The CHAMBER has invited Mr. EPHRAIM G. OLIVAR of


HALIFAX, Canada, with Passport No. G03164743 for the purpose of
discussing investment and possible set up of a coco fiber manufacturing
plant in Tacloban City and/or Province of Leyte, and to buy coconut
products such as virgin coconut oil.

3. The CHAMBER will comply with all the rules and regulations
of the Bureau of Immigration of the Philippines relative to the entry and stay
of the aforesaid alien in the Philippines.

4. The CHAMBER guarantees that the alien shall leave the


Philippines before the expiration of the alien’s period of authorized stay.

5. The CHAMBER shall immediately report to the Philippine


Consulate General, HALIFAX, CANADA , telephone nos. (8620)8331-
1461/8331-0996/8331-0413, fax no. (8620) 8333-0573 the departure of the
alien from the Philippines, furnishing the Consulate with the alien’s date of
departure and flight details.

6. I am executing this affidavit to attest to the truth of the


foregoing facts, for purposes of securing a temporary visitor’s visa and for
whatever legal purpose it may serve.
