This document provides instructions for generating fault polygons from interpreted fault sticks in 9 steps: 1) Place all fault interpretations in a folder, 2) Interpret seismic horizons, 3) Access settings for an interpreted seismic horizon, 4) Select the "Create fault polygon and map" option, 5) Select the fault stick folder as input, 6) Add the faults to the settings window, 7) Click run to generate a new folder with fault polygons mapped to the horizon surface.

- Insert all your interpreted faults in a unique folder
2.- Do your seismic interpretation (If all ready done go to step number 3) 3.- Go to the interpreted Seismic Horizon, Right click bottom (or double click) and select “Settings…” 4.- In the Settings windows go to the “Operations” tab
5.- In the “Operations” tab go to the folder
“Convert points/polygons/surfaces, and select the “Create fault polygon and map” option 6.- From the Input tab, select the Fault Sticks folder (created in step 1) and make it active (Bold)
7.- Use the blue arrow to
insert the faults under the “Fault folder” option in the settings window
8.- Click “Run” to start the
process 9.- A new folder will be generated in the Input tab. The folder name will be the same as the horizon, and it contains the generated surfaces, the boundary and the fault polygons. Turn on this objects in the desired window. The new fault polygons are generated
