This readme file contains important information about the English

translation of Fate/stay night. Please read it before you start playing.
We at mirror moon love games, and we hope our translation of Fate/stay
night shows this. It took a lot of hardahahahhahaahh work and we hope you
enjoy it.
Please also read the Liner Notes for more in-depth information.

2. License and Disclaimer

abused. By installing this software you agree to NOT distribute any part

3. System requirements and

installation instructions

The minimum system requirements for Fate/stay night are as follows:

1. Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/Vista (2000/XP recommended)

2. Pentium III 400MHz (800MHz recommended)
3. 128MB RAM for Windows 98/Me, 256MB recommended
192MB RAM for Windows 2000, 384MB recommended
 256MB RAM for Windows XP, 512MB recommended
4. 800x600 resolution, High Color (at least 65,536 colors)
5. DirectX 5.0 or higher installed (DirectX 7.0 or Windows Media
Player 6.4 required for movie playback)
6. 1.7 GB free hard drive space, 2.5 GB with voice patch
Another 1.7GB free temporary space on the same drive during
installation of the CD version
7. DirectSound or compatible soundcard
8. CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive
9. Mouse and keyboard

To install Fate/stay night English, simply run the installer and follow
the instructions. To create a new installation you will need the original,
Japanese Fate/stay night CDs or DVD, but it is also possible to patch
existing installations of either the Japanese game or Fate/stay night
English.

Fate/stay night English also includes a voice patch, which adds spoken
voice to approximately 95% of the dialogue in the game. You will need the
Japanese Realta Nua DVD to install the voice patch. Note that when
updating an older version of Fate/stay night English that already has the
voice patch installed, you will not need to go through the voice patch
creation process again.

4. Known technical issues

_____________________________

a. Due to the operating system not being able to read from the Realta Nua
DVD, installing the voice patch may not be possible on Windows 98. We
have not been able to isolate the cause of this problem, and it may in
fact be merely incidental.

b. The game may not run natively on some locales, such as Korean. In such
cases it's necessary to run the game through applocale.

c. On PCs with an integrated Intel graphics chipset running Windows Vista,

the game may exhibit strobing and/or flashing during scenes that
contain light level changes. We have not been able to find a solution
for this problem, but it appears to be caused by the video drivers.

d. When installing the game using a guest account on Windows Vista, it is

recommended to not change the default installation path. If you want to
install to a directory outside of Program Files, you will need to set
read/write access rights to your installation directory for the guest
account manually, after the installation is finished. If you do not
have read/write access to the directory, the game will crash.

e. Changing the window size when in window mode may cause the screen to
become garbled. To solve this, try saving your progress and restarting
the game.

f. Pressing Shift+F11 will cause the screen to become garbled. This is an

internal function of the Kirikiri script engine, press Shift+F11 again
to return the view to normal.

Mousewheel-down: Next line of text/Scroll down

c: Open config menu
p: Open Return to Title option
f: Skip to next choice/unread text
r: Open backlog

Alt+Enter: Full screen/Window mode toggle

Alt+F4/Ctrl+x: End game
Ctrl: Skip until the key is released
