STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The main objective of this study is to assess the common bullying behaviors in school

and its impact on elementary pupils’ academic performance at Laurel District.

Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions:

1. What are the common bullying behaviors in school as perceived by teachers in

terms of:

1.1 Physical Bullying

1.2 Verbal Bullying

1.3 Relational/ Social Bullying

1.4 Cyber Bullying

2. What are the effects of bullying to pupils in terms of?

2.1 Intellectual Aspect

2.2 Psychosocial Aspect

2.3 Physical Aspect

3. Is there a significant relationship between common bullying behaviors and its

effects to pupils?

4. What is the academic performance of elementary pupils based on their final

rating in School Form 5?

5. Is there a significant relationship between the extent of the effects of bullying and

pupils’ academic performance?

6. What plan of action maybe proposed based on the findings of the study?
