At Node AB

The document shows calculations for applying KCL at a single node to solve for voltages and currents. It uses the node voltage method and Ohm's law to solve a circuit. It then provides the results of the calculations as voltages and currents.

Calculations:

Applying KCL at node AB (Single Node)

(VA-V1) / R4 + VA / R2 + (VA-V2) / R5 + VA / R3 =0
(VA-10) / 5.6 + VA / 1.5 + (VA-5) / 5.6 + VA / 1.5 =0
Multiplying by 5.6
(VA-10) + 3.73 VA + (VA-5) + 3.73 VA =0
9.46 VA= 15

VA= 1.5856 V
For I1
I1= 10/(1.5) (103)
= 6.67 mA
I2= 1.5856/(1.5) (103)
= 1.057 mA
I3 =1.5856/(1.5) (103)
= 1.057 mA
I4= (10-1.5856)/(5.6) (103)
= 1.502 mA
I1= (5-1.5856)/(5.6) (103)
= 0.609 mA

As VAC=VAD
=1.5856 V

For I
I= I1+I4
= 6.76+1.502
= 8.172 mA
