“FEASIBILTY REPORT”
As the name implies, feasibility report look at ways to solve a business problem or ways to make a new venture, when more than
one plan seems possible. To see ‘Which recommendation is most feasible for this business at this time?" “Whether the focus is
narrow or small?” It discusses the practicality, and possibly the suitability and compatibility of a given project, both in physical and
economic terms. It discusses the desirability of the proposed project from the viewpoint of those who would be affected by it. Which
Action is to be taken or is not to be taken and/or that some choice should be adopted or to be rejected? This is all what this report is
all about.

THE FEASIBILTY REPORT OF “SAMA” HANDBAGS DESIGN AND


MANUFACTURING

 ABSTRACT:
We, Aqsa Cheema 006, Sidra Rasheed 012, Sana Zahid 027, Mehwish Zia 040 and Safa Nadeem 069 are going to establish a new
business, namely “SAMA HANDBAGS DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING” for which we have to make a feasibility report, to know its
pros and cons, its significance, costs, estimations, its suitability and compatibility in the market that we are focusing for our emerging

business to settle. Before starting our own small business, we are performing a simple feasibility analysis and the main objective of
the analysis is to see whether our business idea is worth pursuing. 

 INTRODUCTION:
First we’ll introduce you about our business and what are we planning, then we’ll show you our feasibility analysis that we have
done before going into setting up our business.

Bags are an essential accessory carried by all women as well as men. The wide variety of stylish bags provides everyone with a lot of
options to select from. Fascinating texture, color, material and sheen are few factors that determine the quality of bags. One can
pick from the distinguished patterns and size of bags as per the requirement. Bags are not restricted to being simple but there is
whole new captivating range of embroidered bags, sequin bags, satin bags, and leather bags and so on.

A bag or purse is considered as a women accessory but these days bags have become a major requirement of men & women both.
Funky & shiny bag are obviously not for men, but they have a lot of other options like a laptop bag, leather carry bag etc, in which
they can carry their important stuff. Bags industry is flourishing and providing new opportunities for manufacturers, as the demand
for unique style bags is increasing.

i. Our Proposed Business Overview:


The business that we are proposing is to sell unique handbags to boutiques or directly to customers. Creating and manufacturing
designer handbags is a terrific business that we are deciding to start right from the comforts of home, because as not only can the
business be run on a part-time basis, but there are also almost no operating overheads to bite into monthly profits.

 Our unique designs and utilizing uncommon materials for the making of the handbags can become our competitive advantage in
future, and we have thought that completed products could be wholesaled to fashion retailers or placed on consignment in local
retail shops. Additionally, the handbags could also be sold directly to consumers by displaying the products at fashion or craft shows
or selling them online. Furthermore, we seek big market opportunities by building joint ventures with established handbag
manufacturers that can produce and wholesale our handbag designs under a split revenue agreement.

ii. The Market:


We have planned and it seems that depending on the style of our bags, our customers may be young hip teens and women in their
early 20s, or they may be career women in their 30s and 40s. We could branch out and make large baby bags for mothers or tote
bags for beach-goers. We could even create messenger bags for men. It all depends on our vision. We believe in variety.

iii. Needed Equipment:


A good sewing machine and a head full of ideas. That’s the idea yet to start our business.

NOW, get going to the feasibility that we have done.

 FINANCIAL FEASIBILTY:

In order to know whether our business is financially feasible or not, we conducted a financial feasibility study in which we analyzed
the total costs of our business and the potential revenues that we can get. Our Startup Costs ranges from $2,000 - $10,000, which
will be covered soon by our revenues.

 ECONOMIC FEASIBILITY:

Economic analysis is used for evaluating the effectiveness of our business. This method is also known as cost/benefits analysis. We
procedure to determine the benefits and savings that are expected from our upcoming business and compare them with the costs
that handbags business will face.

In short, we did all those feasibilities to testify our business, to check that do we have loop holes in starting our venture or no? The
result is positive. i.e.: we can start our handbags design and manufacturing business.
