2019 Concert Program
2019 SCHOLARSHIP
2013 to study at the University of Alberta, where she earned the
Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Education combined degree in 2018. She
has played in ensembles in Kelowna and Edmonton, including the
Kelowna Canada Day Pops Orchestra as well as the U of A Symphony
Orchestra, Symphonic Wind Ensemble and Concert Band. Dayna has also BENEFIT CONCERT
participated in festivals and has taught various clinics in Edmonton.
Currently a student of Don Ross here at the Conservatory, Dayna is
working at the Winspear Centre and Telus World of Science while

Amy Chau
Amy Chau is a business student at the University of Alberta. She started
Conservatory of Music
learning piano at the age of 6, and is currently studying with David Tutt MacEwan University
at the Conservatory of Music, MacEwan University. At age 15, Amy
completed the Royal Conservatory of Music ARCT in Piano Performance
with First Class Honours, achieving the highest mark in the Edmonton
region. She was a 2014 Canadian Music Competition national finalist,
placing fourth in her age category. In 2015, Amy held a fundraising
concert with her sister to raise money for the scholarship fund here at
the Conservatory. Amy is a recipient of the Ranald and Vera Shean
Memorial Scholarship, and was also awarded the Alberta Music
Education Foundation Community Service Award in 2017. In addition to
piano, Amy is also studying violin with Frank Ho.
One hundred percent of money received for this concert goes to Sunday, March 10, 2 pm
the AIMTAC Scholarship Fund. AIMTAC scholarships are awarded
annually to students at our spring competition and at the Muttart Hall
Conservatory of Music Fall Festival. All donations $25 and over,
this afternoon and at anytime, are eligible for a tax receipt.
