DO Medical Ohio® Infant Warmer Systems Service Manual Models 2001 About this manual revision This service manual contains information about new control and display printed circuit boards. These new boards have surface mounted components (SMT); previous boards have through hole mounted components. ‘The new control board is software revision level 06.00, and although the software level is displayed on power up, the new board can phyisically be identified by its 12 pin test connector (eatlier boards had a 7 pin connector). Functional descriptions, calbration procedures, and part views of both old and new boards have been included to aid in servicing both recent production and previously manufactured warmer units. ‘This document is not to be reproduced in any manner, nor are the contents herein to be disclosed to anyone, without the express authorization of the Product Service Department, Ohmeda, Ohmeda Drive, Madison, Wisoonsin, 63707, USA, or Ohmeda, 71 Great North Road, Hatfield, Herts, AL9 SEN, England. Technical Competence ‘The procedures described in this service manual should be performed by trained and authorized personnel only. Maintenance should only be undertaken by competent, individuals who have a general knowledge of and experience with devices of this nature. No repairs should ever be undertaken or attempted by anyone not having ‘such quaiiications. Genuine replacement parts manufactured or sold by Ohmeda must be used forall repairs. Read completely through each step in every procedure before starting the procedure; any exceptions may result in a failure to properly and safely complete the attempted procedure. 19600-0195-000 1088 Model Descriptions 2001 IWS (International only) 3000 IWS 3050 IWS. 3100 IWS. cranere.c:1101c108075 c.0@ 0109, 34507, 108.072, c.08672 16600-0195-000 10198 Model Descriptions All models of the Ohmeda Infant Warmer System provide a controlled source of radiant heat for infants and pediatric patients. The control system uses a microprocessor and provides both manual and servo modes of operation (except for the 2001 Intemational, which is manual mode only). ‘The model 2001 Intemational has an integral infant bed and is a manual mode only warmer designed for short term attended care in the OR and L&D. The wall mounted 8050, 3100 and 9150 models are available to accommodate specific architectural requirements in the NICU, L&D, LDR and LDAP room. The 3050 is a heater head only, the 3100 is a heater and dove tal rails, and the 3150 includes a heater, rails and integral bed. ‘The model 3300 and 3400 have integral beds for infants and are intended for procedures and long term care in the Nursery and L&D. The 2400 is equipped with an elevation pedestal to raise and lower the bed. ‘The model 3000, 3500 and 4000 are free standing Warmers which can be used over a variety of infant bassinets in the general nursery, over post-operative patients, during patient feeding, and in any other application where controlled radiant heat is required, ‘The 3500 system also has a detachable bassinet for infants, and is intended for procedures and iong term care in the Nursery, L&D, LDR and LRP Rooms. ‘The model 4300, 4400 and 5000 have a larger size bed than the model 3300 and are intended for surgical procedures and long term care in the Nursery and L&D Rooms. Both the 5000 and 4409 have an elevating pedestal to raise and lower the bed-to-loor height. The model 4400 has a narrower foot print than the 5000 warmer.
