1 To Analyse the DC biasing techniques for BJT and FET
2 To Analyse the small signal equivalent circuits of BJT and Multistage Amplifiers
3 To Analyse the small signal equivalent circuits of FET and feedback amplifiers
4 To design and analyse oscillators and Multivibrators

current series, current shunt - effect of feedback on gain, stability, distortion, band width, input and
output impedances – practical feedback amplifier circuits andtheir analysis
UNIT -IV OSCILLATORS&MULTIVIBRATORS(9 Hrs)
Barkhausencriterionforsustainedoscillations-RCoscillators–RCphase shift oscillator and Wien bridge
oscillator- LC oscillators - Hartley and Colpitts oscillators – crystal oscillators and frequency stability.
Astable, monostable and bistable multivibrators using transistors–Schmitttrigger circuit.
