20HCC22XX: B.Tech (III Sem)

This document outlines an Artificial Neural Networks course for third semester B.Tech students. The course introduces concepts like biological and artificial neurons, single and multi-layer perceptrons, backpropagation algorithms, radial basis function networks, Hopfield networks, and support vector machines. The course objectives are to describe neural networks and their applications, illustrate supervised and unsupervised learning, discuss perceptron capabilities and limitations, and explain feedback networks and SVMs. Upon completing the course, students will be able to discuss neural network learning rules, design single and multi-layer feedforward networks, construct feedback networks, and create linear and nonlinear SVMs.
