General School Rules for Students


1. UNIFORM
a) School uniform must be knee length.
b) The uniform must be buttoned at the neck.
c) Discolored and worn out ties must not be used.
(Ties arc available at the school Sewing Room)
d) Socks must be white and worn at ankle Lrgth.
.) O"ly White Canvas shoes must be worn. No other colours or shiny plastic shoes ate
allowed. Pri*rry students. canwe r white plastic shoes with Velcro. (no designs)
0 Hair - Shoulder length hair must be worn in pig tails. If it is longer it must be in two
plaits, neatly tied up. Short hair must be kept off the face with hairclips/ slides.
g) Ribbons and hairclips must be black.
h) Finger nails should be clean & cut short. Applyrrrg nail polish is not allowed.
,) Safety pins and pins must not be used on the school uniform.
i) Earrings must be simple and gold in colour. White gold, Silver or fancy imitation
jewellery is not allowed. Fancy wrist watches or electronic watches, devices are not
allowed.

2. School dav besins at'l.30 a.m. and ends atl.30 D.m.

3. Attendance must be regular and punctual.


4. Students must obey school bells.

5. Must not be seen out of class during lesson hours.


6. Must observe silence in the library.
7. Must standstill and observe Pansil and Gathas.
8. Students caflnot leave the school premises during school hours without permission from
the Principal
(Once a student enters the school premises she is not allowed to leave school without a
Gate Pass. A Pass will be issued by the Principal, only if the student is to be accompanied
byaparent/gmdra$

9. Students are expected to leave school premises immediate\y after 1.45 p.m., unless required
to stay back for some activity or extra class, with the preseflce of a teacher, in which case
the parents will be informed. School authorities will not be responsible for any studentafter
1.45p.m. stayrng at her own discretion.
10. If absent must b.irg of excuse if absent for even one day or it must be entered in
a letter
the Students Record Book by the parents. All students are required to carry the SRB duily.
(SRB is available in College Book Shop)

11. Colour of the School bag should be Black, Gtey or Blue. No fancy colours designs.

1,2. Must be in school uniform if entering the school premises, even on a holiday.
Student ID must be worn at all time.

13. Mobile phones, Cameras, Video Games and similar types of digttal media, teen books,
literati:re of pornographic nature etc. are forbidden to be brought to school and must not
be in possession of students at any given time.

1,4. Must help to keep classrooms and school premises neat and clean.

15. Students are not allowed to meet any visitors during school hours. Parents who wish to
contact their children during school hours, must do so through the Principal's Office with
permission.

1,6. Fees - All fees must be paid before the end of the frst month of each term. There should
be no arreurs of fees.

17 . Parents who wish to take their children abroad even for a short period should apply to the
Principal at least two weeks prior, and obtain written approval.
All fees have to be paid when such leave is granted.

18. Senior school children are flot allowed in to the Primary Section premises without
permission from the Deputy P.i".rpal of Primary Section.

19. Any student whose conduct is found to be unsatisfactorv in or outside the school,
and bring the school into disrepute. is liable for suitable punishment up to
discontinuation from school, at the discretion of the school Manasement
Committee.

20. Students must respect and be polite to all teachers, andpracttce good manners
and good habits at all times.

21,. Always maintain the good name of the school.
