- Enable for the teacher to know the strengths and weaknesses of the
students they need to conduct an evaluation to determine where to
improve and where to teach the student. Assessment is not a measure on
how good you are in some certain things that you are skilled off,
assessment is meant to do know if you understood the lesson that you
have taken. The teacher must remind students ahead of time to avoid
any circumstances which will give the students the time to study and do
scanning of their notes or readings. This will help students to widen and
have the encouragement to prepare all times and see it as a good and
not a threatening one that will let them think that are being tested for their
intelligence. Assessment is to evaluate the students’ understanding and
the things they learn as much as they can understand the lesson.
Principle VI: The teacher should encourage the learning community to engage
in assessment.
