What is your considerations/criteria, in choosing a career? Who are the


significant people to you on the career that you have picked to include?
My number one consideration in choosing a career is of course my
passion. I have chosen to be a journalist someday because I love
writing. Another criteria is that because it is a flexible job and you can
easily land into a job opportunity if only you would be responsible
enough. The significant people in my life whom influenced me to
become a journalist someday are my teachers and of course my
parents. This career timeline only reflects how excited I am for what’s
in store for me as I go along my career.

INDEPENDENT ACTIVITY 1:
PLAN/ACTIVITIES Reason why you chose that plan
or activities
Out of town family get together I chose this plan because we
haven’t really been bonding
outside since the pandemic struck
and I think going out of town is a
good idea to restore our bond.
Hiking This plan is an activity that we
have never ever done before.
Doing so, would create happy
memories and good relationships
afterwards.
Camping This is something that would
really be a memorable experience
since camping in the woods has a
lot of activities in store like setting
up a camp, starting a fire, and so
on.
Teambuilding Activities When it comes to restoring
relations, team building is the go-
to program for families. I chose
this because it can greatly impact
our relationship with our family
as this requires a lot of teamwork.
Movie Nights Watching a movie together with
my family, even if it’s only at
home is kind of a great bonding
time. I chose this plan because it
is something that we all love to
do, and doing so would help us
connect altogether.

Processing Questions:
1. What was the easiest/difficult statement to decide on? Why?
-Statement No. 5 because you can never really know how long
you can wait until the right time comes. You can either wait, or
choose to act upon it without letting luck to do the job for you.
Even if it’s luck or not, you can always choose to wait or to no
longer wait especially if its not worth the while.

2. What made you agree/disagree with the statements?


- My decision on each statement purely based on my heart and
not on my mind. Even though my mind is the superior decision
maker, I can say that whatever I choose to believe in my heart
in these statements, are what made me agree or disagree.
Also, my belief and perspectives in life is a great factor that
helped me decide on which to agree or not. I am very firm with
my choices and I can say that it is all decided properly.

3. What or who influenced you in making a decision as to whether to


agree or disagree on the statements read?
- The people who influenced me in making these decisions are of
course my parents and teachers. They are the ones who honed
me and trained my mind to someday be able to make the right
decisions in life. They are the ones who molded my personality
and so whatever I agreed or disagreed upon will surely be
reasonable for them. What influenced me is my perspective on
that certain scenario, and how I perceive it strongly.

WHAT I CAN DO
Personal Mission Statement
I, Fatima Faith A. Baltazar, a Humanities and Social Sciences
student of Fortunato F. Halili National Agricultural School, herby
declare my mission statement. I have always been inspired of my
parents ever since I was a child. They were the first ones to open my
eyes in the reality of this world that nothing is permanent, and changes
will always occur. Aside from my parents, my teachers also played a
huge part when it comes to the knowledge that I acquired in life. They
honed me to the best possible version I can be and that’s something
that I really treasure. The qualities that I want to obtain is to become
more active and participative when it comes to my civic duties and
responsibilities so that my voice can be of use to speak out for those
who cannot. Currently, the role that I play today is being an advocate
for human dignity. I want to be known in this role because I want to
spark change in the whole world that if people will realize that they
have worth, and that they have dignity, we can all co-exist and live
peacefully. The specific goals that I have is to further my reach across
the globe and someday take this role into a global level. As much as the
World Youth Alliance, can help me speak at conferences like the United
Nations, I will always be looking forward to this. The specific belief that
I hold is that all of us have intrinsic, and inviolable dignity from the day
of conception to natural death. We must be able to acknowledge that
this dignity is something that will defend us all the time. One thing that
I also want to focus on is helping our country rise through poverty by
means of applying long-term solutions that will definitely create a huge
difference in other people’s lives.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT: HINDSIGHT AND FORESIGHT


Since the start of this semester, I have always been looking
forward to our Personal Development subject because it is something
that’s really unique as it focuses more on our personality. There has
been a lot of change within me since the first activity sheet up until the
most recent ones. I have learned a lot regarding relationships, family
ties, and most of all, decision making. These aspects of our lives are
something that are very crucial and yet really easy to learn. As long as
you take your heart and mind with you, there is a guarantee that you
can enjoy the entirety of this module. There has been much
development in my character and it’s because this subject has opened
my eyes to a whole new world of different perspectives and ideas that
will help me perceive the happenings around me in a different way.

Moreover, I would make sure to apply everything that I have


learned in these modules so that my learning will not be senseless. I
believe that wisdom comes as you apply the knowledge that you have
learned and making something good out of it. I will continue on my
journey towards developing my personality through enjoying life and
learning from its experiences because that’s where real development
really takes place. As long as you perceive these challenges, as an
experience that will help you learn a lesson, you can always be one step
closer towards personality development.
